Fourteen Shaoxing yellow rice wine companies took part in the 16th China International Alcoholic Drinks Expo in Luzhou, Sichuan province from April 9 to 12.

On April 9, the Shaoxing Yellow Wine Pavilion of the expo was opened to the public, drawing crowds of visitors and journalists.

The pavilion occupied an area of more than 500 square meters and featured the typical architectural style of the region south of the Yangtze River.

According to Xu Mingguang, president of the Shaoxing Yellow Wine Industrial Association, the expo would help foster collaboration between Shaoxing yellow wine companies and create win-win results for all.

In the past, most yellow wine companies focused mainly on tending to their own business rather than seeking collaboration, said Xu. He emphasized that the cooperative approach should be embraced in order for the industry to develop further.

At the opening ceremony of the Shaoxing yellow wine pavilion, representatives from these 14 companies presented their signature products and services to the audience.
