In E-Game Town, a digital creativity hub in Shaoxing, Zhejiang province, artificial intelligence is driving a transformation across multiple industries.
"From revolutionizing animation and film production to enhancing gaming experiences and enabling widespread creative participation, AI is now embedded throughout the entire industry chain," said an E-Game Town representative.
At Drock Art, an animation studio, AI-powered tools generate hundreds of concept images in real time based on preset style parameters, streamlining character and scene design.
By integrating AI with modeling and illustration teams, the company has increased outsourcing efficiency by 30 percent, ensuring a balance between automation and human refinement. "AI is not just a creative catalyst but also an accelerator for industrialized production," a representative of Drock Art said.
Meanwhile, AI applications are extending beyond entertainment into assistive technology. The "Bat Navigation" app, developed by Yunlong Information, turns smartphones into digital guides for the visually impaired.
Utilizing laser-based environmental sensing and multimodal AI models, the app provides centimeter-level spatial awareness, real-time text recognition, and emergency alerts. Originally designed for accessibility, its core technology has been adapted for industrial quality control, reducing labor costs and increasing inspection efficiency by 30 percent.
