The Shaoxing People's Hospital Jinghu Branch is expected to commence operations in the Jinghu New Area, Shaoxing, by the end of December.

The Jinghu Branch is divided into eight functional zones: outpatient area, emergency area, inpatient area, medical technology area, international health management center, research and teaching facilities, administrative offices, and logistics support. The hospital will be equipped with 1,500 beds for inpatients.

Currently, the installation and testing of equipment, software, and general supplies at the Jinghu Branch are underway. According to the schedule, the project is expected to be operational by the end of December.

In the future, Jinghu New Area will host the Shaoxing People's Hospital Jinghu Branch, while the Chang'an Branch will still be located at the north end of Zhongxing Road.

Most medical disciplines will have inpatient beds at both the Jinghu and Chang'an branches. However, some departments will have inpatient areas located at only one branch. For example, the inpatient areas for eight departments, including gynecology, obstetrics, neonatology, general practice, and dentistry, will be relocated.

The Jinghu Branch will place a greater emphasis on introducing advanced clinical technologies, featuring high-end equipment such as the first surgical robot in Shaoxing, to meet the high-end medical needs of the city's residents.
