The Shaoxing Comprehensive Bonded Zone, located in the Binhai New Area, is experiencing rapid growth in cross-border e-commerce, with daily orders exceeding 12,000 and more than 30 enterprises now operating in the zone.

The bonded zone has attracted major platforms such as JD, Cainiao, and Douyin. The products available now cover 400 to 500 categories, including cosmetics, baby formula, food, and pet supplies. Shaoxing residents benefit from tax incentives while enjoying convenient access to a growing range of imported goods.

The bonded zone has also established a 5,000-square-meter cross-border e-commerce center and live-streaming bases to expand sales channels. During this year's "Double 11" shopping festival, the zone set new records, processing 1.08 million orders worth 362 million yuan ($49.77 million).

To improve efficiency, the bonded zone has implemented advanced systems, including overnight service guarantees, automated checkpoints, and categorized warehouse monitoring.

A new industry-education alliance, involving institutions such as Shaoxing University and Zhijiang College of Zhejiang University of Technology, has trained over 200 professionals to support the sector's growth.
