China Taekwondo Open concludes in Keqiao

The 2024 China Taekwondo Open wrapped up its final day of competition in Keqiao, Shaoxing, on Nov 26.
The event featured 13 adult sparring categories, with Chinese athletes winning gold in 11 categories.
The tournament included both sparring and poomsae events, with divisions for adults and youth. Poomsae competitions were divided into recognized and freestyle categories. A total of 56 gold medals were awarded. China performed exceptionally well, while Kazakhstan and Mongolia also secured gold medals in sparring.
The China Taekwondo Open is a major international competition. This year, nearly 400 people from countries and regions including China, Hong Kong, Taiwan province, Afghanistan, South Korea, India, the Philippines, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, Mongolia, Yemen, and Nepal participated.
