Local ham brand launches production in Shaoxing

Zhejiang Tiansheng Holding Group launched its new ham production facility in Keqiao district's Keyan subdistrict on Nov 22, marking the rise of a local ham brand in Shaoxing.

Residents of Keqiao can now enjoy authentic black pig ham right in their hometown. This development not only diversifies the local food industry but also boosts the quality and efficiency of Shaoxing's agricultural sector, contributing to the local economy.

The ham curing workshop at Zhejiang Tiansheng ensures quality by using black-haired native pigs from the company's large-scale breeding base, which houses 50,000 pigs. Traditional methods such as salting, washing, shaping, fermenting, and grading transform ordinary pork legs into aromatic hams.

Established in 2020, Zhejiang Tiansheng's meat processing base incorporates Jinhua ham curing techniques and advanced production equipment. The facility has an annual capacity of processing 50,000 hams and operates an integrated production line from curing to packaging and sales.

Zhejiang Tiansheng plans to continue innovating and improving product quality to offer consumers more high-quality, healthy food options. The company also aims to expand into international markets, promoting Shaoxing's local ham brand globally.
