Shangyu launches 'partner program' with Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman

Shangyu district in East China's Shaoxing launched the "Partner Program" with Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman on Oct 15, welcoming 14 UTAR students to live, learn, and work in Shangyu.
Doctor Bok-Min Goi, vice-president of UTAR, praised Shangyu as an energetic "City of Youth", noting the strong alignment between the district's industries and the university's fields of study.
He expressed confidence that students would gain valuable experience and hoped for deeper cooperation in the future.
A government authority in Shangyu said that the "Partner Program" will drive collaboration across innovation, industry, capital, and talent, fostering a spirit of teamwork and entrepreneurship to support mutual growth.
