At just 20 years old, Jiang Yuyan exemplifies determination and excellence in para swimming. Hailing from Shaoxing, East China's Zhejiang province, and known as the "Golden Fish" for her seven gold medals at the Paris Paralympics, her journey is a beacon of inspiration. With a bright smile and firm resolve, Jiang shows how hard work and ambition can lead to significant achievements.
Her path to glory hasn't been without obstacles. After a challenging debut at the Tokyo 2021 Paralympics, where she narrowly missed the podium in her first event, Jiang felt discouraged. But instead of letting the setback define her, she used it as motivation. With the unwavering support of her coach, Feng Jie, Jiang revamped her training, focusing on both strength and technique. Her dedication paid off in Paris, where she not only won seven gold medals, but also set multiple world and Paralympic records.

Her achievements underscore that with dreams and persistence, the possibilities are endless, irrespective of physical limitations.
