Wozhou town in Xinchang county, Shaoxing, Zhejiang province, is promoting the rapid development of the low-altitude economy, in collaboration with Wanfeng Aviation Industry Co and other enterprises engaged in the industry.

The low-altitude economy has been integrated into public services in the town. The local traffic police use drones to reduce the average accident response time from 12 minutes to eight minutes and cut accident investigation time by 40 percent.

The town’s hospital has established a drone airport for transporting medicine, medical equipment, and lab reports.

In collaboration with Wanfeng Aviation, Wozhou town has developed several small aircraft sightseeing routes, highlighting its picturesque landscapes, and offers skydiving excursions, aviation education programs, and flight experiences to boost its tourism economy.

Wozhou town has also deepened the application of drone technology in governance, using drones to conduct aerial photography of illegal acts and road inspections.

In traffic management, high-altitude monitoring improves road traffic flow. As a result, the average vehicle speed during peak hours has increased by 10 percent, and the duration of congestion has decreased by 20 percent.

Next, the town plans to establish multiple drone exhibition halls and demonstration bases for drone applications, promote investment, and attract enterprises from the drone industry supply chain to set up operations in its industrial park.
