The 18th China Datang International Hosiery Industry Expo opened in Zhuji on Sept 9. The three-day event attracted over 250 exhibitors.

This year's expo integrates five key functions: exhibition, competition, showcase, networking, and commerce, exploring new directions for the hosiery industry.

In recent years, the hosiery industry in Zhuji's Datang subdistrict has been experiencing digital transformation.

The region now boasts nearly 200 digital workshops, equipped with over 20,000 smart sock machines, making it the largest digital production cluster for hosiery in the world. Datang's self-operated exports have maintained steady growth of over 10 percent for three consecutive years, with an impressive 43.7 percent year-on-year increase in the first half of this year.
