The 2024 Zhejiang Youth Baseball Championship concluded in Jiaxing, Zhejiang province, on July 22.

Representing Shaoxing, Xiaoyue High School's baseball team triumphed with a 12-2 victory over Wenzhou, securing the U18 championship and successfully defending their title.

Under the blazing sun, the young athletes ran the bases and played all in. The Xiaoyue High School team, clad in their blue and white uniforms, stood out with their exceptional performance.

Xiaoyue High School established its baseball team in April 2022. In 2023, they won the U18 championship at the Zhejiang Youth Baseball Championship.

The team ignited a wave of enthusiasm throughout campus. For young baseball players, the sport is not only a platform for honing their skills and personal development but also a powerful stepping stone towards higher education.

To date, 11 out of 15 senior members of the Xiaoyue High School baseball team have been admitted into renowned sports academies and comprehensive universities.

The success of Xiaoyue High School's baseball program is also contributing to Shaoxing's ambition to become a "City of Baseball and Softball," injecting new energy and talent into the local sports community.
