The 2024 Keqiao Textile Expo (Spring) concluded at the Shaoxing International Convention and Exhibition Center on May 8.
Held twice a year, in spring and autumn, the expo has been a staple in the textile industry since its inception in 1999.
This year, China Textile City's total online and offline transactions reached 91.36 billion yuan ($12.61 billion) in the first quarter, marking a 7.27 percent increase compared to the same period last year. This strong start highlights the ongoing vitality of the expo, now in its 26th year, which continues to offer new opportunities for the textile industry.
The 2024 spring edition of the expo set a new record for exhibition space. Spanning 35,000 square meters, the expo featured over 1,400 booths and attracted more than 600 exhibitors. The main products showcased included textile fabrics and accessories, garments, textile finishing, home textiles, and creative designs.
For the first time, the international exhibition area surpassed 500 square meters, with over 20 companies from countries including the United States, Spain, Japan, and South Korea participating.
In addition to the main exhibition, the event hosted several complementary activities, including the 2024 Global Textile New Materials Innovation Development Forum, the 2024 Fashion Design Exhibition (Spring), and the 2024 Keqiao Cultural Tourism Market, further enriching the expo's offerings.
