Yeosu is a city on the southern coast of the Korean Peninsula in South Jeolla province and comprises the old Yeosu city founded in 1949, Yeocheon city founded in 1986 and Yeocheon county which were merged into the current Yeosu city in 1998. The city has an area of 503 square kilometers and had a population of 283,000 as of May 2019.
Affected by its oceanic climate, Yeosu has abundant rainfall, making it picturesque and suitable for agriculture since ancient times. It also has an active fishery.
Being a central city of the Northeast Asia economic circle, Yeosu has established friendly relationships with 11 cities from six countries in Asia, North and Central America.
Cape Girardeau, the United States

Blois is well developed in the industries of mechatronics, auto parts manufacturing, food processing, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics manufacturing. In addition, Blois' tourism is also prosperous. It is renowned for being an ancient capital city and rated as the heart of French gardens. Being a historic and cultural city, Blois enjoys a reputation as the "City of Castles". Blois' education and scientific research are of a high standard. Except for official or semi-official research institutions, most companies have their own research and development institutions. The scientific research level in pharmaceuticals, agronomy, civil engineering and coinage ranks among the best in France.
