The "Journey of Shaoxing Wine Around the World • Hong Kong" was held from Aug 28 to 29 and featured the Shaoxing Yellow Rice Wine and Shaoxing Cultural and Tourism Promotion along with the unveiling of the "Only Palatable Wine" by Gu Yue Long Shan brand under China Shaoxing Yellow Rice Wine Group Co.
The distinguished occasion was attended by over 100 people, including representatives from important chambers of commerce in Hong Kong, renowned corporate figures, Gu Yue Long Shan's Hong Kong distributors, overseas distributors, and eight Michelin-starred executive chefs.
Sun Aibao, chairman of China Shaoxing Yellow Rice Wine Group Co, emphasized the uniqueness of the event by explaining three significant "firsts."
It was the first-ever cultural exchange event organized by China Shaoxing Yellow Rice Wine Group in Hong Kong, the first time that Shaoxing, renowned as the capital of yellow rice wine, hosted a thematic promotional event in Hong Kong, and the premiere of the "Only Palatable Wine" image exhibition in Hong Kong.

At the event venue, Gu Yue Long Shan unveiled a new mascot, "Little Green Jade." The design of the mascot was overseen by the head of the design team responsible for the Beijing Winter Olympics' mascot, "Bing Dwen Dwen."
The inspiration behind "Little Green Jade" stems from the brand culture of Gu Yue Long Shan and the premium flagship product, "Only Palatable Wine." The colors reflect the texture of green jade and the hues of green landscapes and waters.
During the event, Gu Yue Long Shan signed contracts for overseas projects with eight companies in China's Hong Kong and Macao, Canada, South Korea, Malaysia, the UAE, Peru, and Japan.
Yang Jianxiang, deputy director of the Shaoxing municipal bureau of culture, radio, television, and tourism, said that the deep-rooted connections between Hong Kong and Shaoxing provide an inviting backdrop for Hong Kong guests to explore Shaoxing first-hand, indulging in cultural, leisure, and investment pursuits.
