There is Asian Games fervor in Shaoxing, local media reported on Aug 17.
The city's Keqiao district has adorned its streets with nearly 3,600 Asian Games flags and replaced 110 sets of subway station lightbox images, embellishing 460 public transit shelters and bike shelters with captivating Asian Games-themed art.
Moreover, 31 key intersections within the urban area have been adorned with Asian Games vignettes.
To ensure continued interest in the Asian Games, 15 outdoor LED screens have been positioned across prominent city segments. Three streets within the downtown area have been entrusted with the distribution of over 24,000 posters, each encapsulating the spirit of the event.
Twenty service stations have been established near Asian Games venues, scenic attractions, cultural and artistic institutions, medical facilities, plazas, and commercial hubs.
With more than 2,000 individuals already enlisted and over 1,200 successfully passing interviews, volunteers are poised to infuse the Asian Games and the Asian Paralympic Games with a contagious spirit.
Their efforts are geared towards ensuring the seamless execution of the games, fostering an environment of safety and harmony, facilitating order, and delivering volunteer services.
