Boya Apparel Co in Shaoxing has been producing attire for the award ceremonies and flag bearers of Asian Games Hangzhou, local media reported on July 20.
At Boya Apparel, the exhibition hall showcases the Asian Games award ceremony attire, inspired by the vibrant theme colors of the games. Combining traditional qipao elements with innovative improvements and exquisite embroidery, the designs exude an oriental elegance.
Capable of creating over 1,000 sets of attire for the Asian Games award ceremonies, complete with matching footwear, as well as designing and producing uniforms for flag bearers, including coordinated ties and shoes, Boya Apparel has left no detail unattended.
Established in 2005, Boya Apparel has earned a reputation for designing and producing garments for prestigious international brands. In 2013, the company's President Li Yajian recognized the industry's direction and created a platform for large-scale personalized clothing customization.
Li emphasized that the design process for the Asian Games attire began with a digital blueprint that skillfully incorporates dynamic 3D effects like undulating water ripples and iconic elements inspired by the renowned West Lake.
Boya Apparel also employs state-of-the-art laser projection technology to facilitate precise cutting, while certain intricate procedures call for the skilled hands of artisans who add hand-drawn embellishments to the finished garments.
