Asian U16 Women's Volleyball Championship held in Shaoxing

The first "Exciting Hangzhou" Asian U16 Women's Volleyball Championship commenced in Zhejiang province on July 1.
The opening matches of the first stage saw the Hong Kong team from China competing against the formidable Thailand team at the China Textile City Sports Center Gymnasium.
The "Exciting Hangzhou" Asian U16 Women's Volleyball Championship is scheduled to last eight days. The tournament features 11 teams from various countries and regions including China, Australia, Iran, and Japan. Four different venues have been designated for the competition.
The China Textile City Sports Center Gymnasium, one of the venues, will host eight group stage matches. The top contenders will proceed to the final stage, which will take place from July 6 to 8 in Hangzhou for the championship.
