The 21st Yueju Opera Grand Exhibition, titled "Cultural Beauty Empowers the Asian Games, Resonating Yueju Opera in the Ancient City," commenced at the Shaoxing Grand Theater in Shaoxing, China.

Over the course of four months, the event will bring a meticulously curated selection of 20 audio and visual feasts, continuing the legacy and transformation of Yueju Opera art and showcasing the beauty of traditional culture.

This edition of the exhibition has been extended, spanning from June to late September, coinciding with the opening of the Asian Games.

It will embrace the Asian Games and showcase China's distinctiveness, the charm of Zhejiang, and the splendor of Shaoxing to the world.

The lineup of performances at the exhibition is rich and diverse. Over 10 Yueju Opera troupes, including the Shanghai Yueju Opera Theater, Nanjing Yueju Opera Troupe, and Shaoxing Yueju Opera Troupe, will take turns staging magnificent dramas.

"As practitioners of Yueju Opera, we must have unwavering cultural confidence and fulfill our mission by continuously promoting the cultural essence of Yueju Opera," stated Qiu Jianping, general manager of the Shaoxing Performing Arts Group.
