Shaoxing's GDP totaled 173.9 billion yuan ($25.15 billion) in the first quarter of this year, rising 6.1 percent on a yearly basis, according to the Shaoxing Municipal Bureau of Statistics.

From January to March, the added values of Shaoxing's primary, secondary, and tertiary industries were 3.7 billion yuan, 81 billion yuan, and 89.1 billion yuan, up 3.1 percent, 4.8 percent, and 7.4 percent respectively.

In the first quarter, Shaoxing's imports and exports were worth 92.5 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 22.9 percent. Among them, exports were worth 85.8 billion yuan, an increase of 23.8 percent. The export of textile products increased by 6.3 percent year-on-year.

The per capita disposable income of all residents was 22,519 yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.4 percent. Specifically, the per capita disposable incomes of urban and rural residents were 26,610 yuan and 14,801 yuan, up 4 percent and 5 percent respectively.
