Shaoxing companies explore South Korean market
Keqiao district in Shaoxing, Zhejiang province, arranged for a group of 68 textile enterprises to explore the South Korean market in Seoul on March 22.
The exhibition area, covering 1,500 square meters, showcased over 10,000 high-quality fabrics and attracted more than 1,000 South Korean clothing companies and purchasers. The event marks the first professional textile exhibition independently organized by Keqiao district overseas this year.
According to Chen Weidan, the sales manager of Shaoxing Fahua Fabric Co, the exhibition exceeded expectations, and most customers who arrived had a high willingness to place orders. South Korea is one of the company's primary markets, and the event provided an opportunity for direct customer contact, which is invaluable for business growth.
To assist textile enterprises in securing more orders, Keqiao district has increased its efforts to organize overseas exhibitions and established an accurate docking platform to expand market opportunities for businesses.
South Korea, as one of Keqiao's main textile export markets, was listed as the first station. Keqiao will also host the Myanmar (Yangon) International Textile Trade Exhibition. Other self-organized and group exhibitions are also currently being planned.
