A signing ceremony for 34 contracts valued at 33.93 billion yuan ($5.03 billion) was held in Keqiao district, Shaoxing, on Jan 10.

The projects involve optoelectronic information, biomedicine, new materials, and modern services.

One of them is a photovoltaic cell super factory, which is the first 10-billion-level industrial project to be signed into effect by Keqiao district this year.

The Xinxing Semiconductor Photomask and Zhongke Zhiliang Nano-scale Battery Anode Materials projects will strengthen Keqiao's high-end manufacturing.

Foreign-funded projects such as Italy's Delfino high-end apparel manufacturing base will guide foreign capital to key technical fields and help complete the textile industrial chain in Keqiao.

Local officials of Keqiao said the district will strive to provide more favorable policies and create a first-class business environment.
