Keqiao launches China-Europe freight service
The first Keqiao China-Europe freight train carrying 50 containers of goods worth $4.5 million departed from Keqiao, Shaoxing, East China's Zhejiang province, on Nov 18.
The new cross-border freight train service offers a new way for Shaoxing, known as an international hub for textiles, to export its products to other countries.
With Jinhua, another city in Zhejiang, as a transfer station, the shipment is bound for several central Asian countries along the Belt and Road.
