Indian businessmen awarded for rendering assistance to Keqiao

Indian businessmen Hemant Dia and Vinod Kumar were recently awarded for donating 15,000 masks to help Keqiao district, Shaoxing in East China's Zhejiang province, during the COVID-19 outbreak in early 2020.
Dia, who moved to Keqiao in 2001, runs a business that deals with the import and export of clothing, shoes and other small commodities.
In early 2020 when COVID-19 raged across the world, Dia and his friend Kumar purchased masks from their home country and donated them to Keqiao.
Due to its excellent business environment, Keqiao has in recent years been attracting a growing number of foreign businessmen. The China Textile City in Keqiao is now home to more than 6,000 foreign businessmen from 63 countries and regions.
Statistics show that the actual utilization of foreign investment in Keqiao during the Jan-Oct period was $526.33 million.
