The 2022 New Silk Road Story Exchange Keqiao Forum and the 5th World Textile Merchandise Conference will open in Keqiao district, Shaoxing on Nov 15, local authorities announced at a press conference on Nov 3.

The 2022 New Silk Road Story Exchange Keqiao Forum will be hosted by Xinhua News Agency and the People's Government of Zhejiang Province from Nov 15 to 16.

The forum consists of a main forum and three sub-forums and is meant to promote exchanges and cooperation between domestic and foreign companies and offer suggestions on promoting the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative.

The 5th World Textile Merchandising Conference will be held at the China Textile City from Nov 15 to 20. 

The conference includes round table forums, Keqiao Fashion Week, the Autumn Textile Expo and various parallel forums and matchmaking meetings.

The organizers of the events have sent invitations to textile industry associations in more than 60 countries, including Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Japan, and South Korea.
