The Shaoxing Comprehensive Bonded Zone has served as a high-level platform for opening-up and empowered companies setting up operations in the zone since its establishment in 2020.

As the first firm that was introduced to the bonded zone, Kateeva Display Technology (Shaoxing) Co Ltd, which focuses on manufacturing of OLED display screen, has reaped many benefits brought by the bonded zone.

Long before the company officially moved its operations to the area, the Shaoxing Comprehensive Bonded Zone had designed a customized production base for it. So far, the company has generated nearly 70 million yuan ($10.34 million) in business revenue.

Wang Erdong, chief representative of Kateeva, said that the company's fast development is partly attributed to the thoughtful care shown by the zone.

Wang recalled that with the coordination of the bonded zone and Shaoxing Customs, the firm was able to be entitled to a tax break of 13 million yuan when importing $16 million worth of equipment.

In addition to Kateeva, another firm Zhejiang Hailiang Holding Co Ltd is also a beneficiary of the Shaoxing Comprehensive Bonded Zone.

Owing to the green channel opened by the bonded zone, the firm spent only about 10 days completing all the operation approval and registration procedures.

Since the end of May, the firm has imported 2,915 tons of goods, which worth $26.85 million in total.

In order to provide better services for companies operating in the zone, the Shaoxing Comprehensive Bonded Zone issued guidelines regulating the service management for the zone's firms.

According to the guidelines, staff members will be assigned to provide one-to-one services to projects conducted in the zone.
