Shaoxing holds China-Japan-South Korea Business Conference

The 5th China-Japan-South Korea Business Conference opened in Shaoxing, East China's Zhejiang province on July 13.
Over 400 government officials and business representatives from the three countries spoke about new projects and products, as well as opportunities emerging from the implementation of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership, the world's largest free-trade deal.
In 2021, Shaoxing companies conducted businesses with 1,328 Japanese companies. The combined exports' were valued at 6.37 billion yuan ($942 million), up 25 percent from 2018.
Shaoxing companies conducted businesses with 1,683 South Korean companies. The combined exports' were valued at 6.65 billion yuan, up 17.5 percent from 2018.
From January to May, Shaoxing's exports to signatory states of the RCEP were valued at about 126.17 billion yuan, up 36.1 percent year-on-year.
