A soccer game between international and Chinese students kicked off at the Shaoxing University on April 6 to celebrate the upcoming Asian Games Hangzhou 2022.

The game was tied 2-2. The players mainly came from schools of medicine, foreign languages, and engineering.

"I like soccer because it's a passionate sport. It was a joy to play against my Chinese friends," said a student from Liberia, "I am very looking forward to the Asian Games."

The Games, which is scheduled to be held from Sept 10 to 25, 2022, will feature 40 sports, 61 disciplines, and 482 events that will be contested in 55 competition venues across Zhejiang.

Apart from the host city of Hangzhou, Shaoxing will host the largest number of events during the Games.
