The first 24-hour public reading room opened in Yuecheng district, Shaoxing on Jan 18.

The mini library collects over 6,000 books for rental and offers over 400 square meters of reading space.

Local authorities said the reading room's construction was guided by the government and operated by local companies. Similar reading rooms will be added in the same way.
