Shaoxing trade mission enjoys fruitful outing at 4th CIIE

The 4th China International Import Expo, the largest import expo in the world, concluded on Nov 10, with the Shaoxing trade delegation signing 88 purchase orders.
Worth more than $88 million, these orders were signed by 44 companies of the Shaoxing trade delegation and exhibitors of the 4th CIIE.
Notably, two orders signed by Zhejiang Hailiang Co Ltd with Trafigura Group and Samsung at the signing ceremony were worth a combined 6 billion yuan ($941 million).
Shaoxing has long been committed to building up cooperative ties with foreign companies. At the 2021 China Zhejiang International Digital Economy Summit and the 7th China (Zhejiang)-Europe Digital Economy and High-Tech Industry Matchmaking Conference held on Nov 5, Shaoxing signed about $450 million worth of projects with foreign firms.
At the 4th CIIE, Shaoxing showcased its traditional intangible cultural heritage items such as yellow rice wine brewing technique, Shaoxing cuisine, and palm fiber weaving at a special area designed to showcase intangible culture heritage items from across the world.
