This year also marks the 85th anniversary of the Victory of the Red Army's Long March. From October 1934 to October 1936, the Red Army led by the CPC trekked 12,500 kilometers across the country, repelling more than 1 million enemy troops bent on pursuing and blocking it, eventually establishing a revolutionary base in northwest China.

The Long March was a strategic shift that the CPC and the Red Army were forced to make at a critical moment, whose spirit and influence live on.
