The Fourth World Textile Merchandising Conference opened in Keqiao district, Shaoxing, East China's Zhejiang province, on Oct 26 and will run till Oct 29. The event will be livestreamed to over 60 countries and regions.

Keqiao district has been selected to host the conference for the next two years.

The district is home to the China Textile City, the biggest cloth distribution center in Asia. From January to September, China Textile City recorded a trade volume of 169.73 billion yuan ($26.6 billion), up 20.7 percent year-on-year.
