A new highway linking 10 mountain villages in Jingning She autonomous county – located in Lishui, in East China's Zhejiang province – officially opened on Oct 13, according the city's transport bureau.
With a total investment of 190 million yuan ($28.36 million), the highway is 29.92 kilometer long, officials said.
It starts at the Zhangshan'ao Tunnel exit of the S228 Provincial Highway and finishes at the intersection with the 808 County Road.
Officials said the project aims to develop the scenic areas in Jingning, help drive local economy forwards and expand the urban areas of Jingning.
