Jingning ultra-trial run attracts 500 sports enthusiasts

An ultra-trial run took place on Sept 19 at Chimu Mountain in Jingning She autonomous county – administered by Lishui city in East China's Zhejiang province – attracting the participation of 543 enthusiast from across the country, according to local officials.
The run was divided into three groups – for 15 kilometers, 35 km and 45 km. Contestants experienced different surfaces including hardened roads, steps, ancient roads, mountain roads and wooden pathways.

Officials said the natural scenery along the way and the distinctive custom of She ethnic group left a deep impression on participants from out of town.
"The scenery along the course is very beautiful, especially the misty mountains after the rain," said Zhang Weihan, a participant from Shanghai.
"It's like entering a painting scene. I plan to spend the next two days here to experience and enjoy the beauty here," Zhang added.
