Representatives of the cultural tourism industry from Ninh Thuan province in Vietnam recently embarked on a cultural sojourn to the Root Palace Buddhist Cultural Tourism Zone in Kaihua county – located in Quzhou, East China's Zhejiang province.

The visitors marveled at thousands of intricate pieces of root carving in the zone. They were particularly enchanted by a huge root-carved sculpture of Shakyamuni Buddha, which was crafted from precious Southeast Asian wood using Chinese root carving techniques, symbolizing the beauty of cultural exchanges.

After arriving at the summit of Zuijing Garden in the zone, the group admired the harmonious blend of architecture and nature, likening it to a slowly unfolding landscape painting.

Nguyen Anh Vu, chairman of the Ninh Thuan Tourism Association, said the Root Palace Buddhist Cultural Tourism Zone was not just a static museum but a dynamic exhibition of Eastern aesthetics.

Meanwhile, Nguyen Van Hoa – from the Ninh Thuan Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism – said he took videos to show the Root Palace Buddhist Cultural Tourism Zone to more people in Vietnam, paying tribute to this beautiful place in western Zhejiang.
