The 2025 China International Camping Congress took place at Jinhua Mountain in Jinhua, Zhejiang province, from April 25 to 27.
The event featured promotional meetings, equipment exhibitions, and strategic discussions, attracting over 300 guests from international organizations and from 29 provinces and cities.
Jinhua Mountain, renowned for its natural beauty and cultural richness, has emerged as a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts seeking leisurely camping experiences. Its diverse landscapes, including mountains and lakesides, have created a rich camping ecosystem that captivates visitors.
In 2024, Jinhua Mountain was designated as China's first mountain camping meteorological service pilot site. In the same year, the permanent venue for the China International Camping Congress was established in the region.
Notable highlights during the congress included cultural performances, industry awards, and the launch of the China-Canada Youth Outdoor Sports Exchange Camp.
An exhibition presenting advanced camping equipment and outdoor lifestyle offerings also attracted many visitors, demonstrating Zhejiang's manufacturing capabilities in the global camping sector.
A matchmaking meeting focusing on the overseas expansion of outdoor equipment manufacturing enterprises was held on April 27. The meeting aimed to assist Chinese foreign trade-oriented manufacturing enterprises in innovating and overcoming challenges through policy interpretations, international case sharing, cross-border trade thematic salons, and supply-demand matchmaking sessions.
