A shipment of carbon fiber electric-assisted bicycles rolled out on March 26 from Jiaxing Urtopia Electric Bikes in Chongfu town, Tongxiang county-level city, Jiaxing, bound for Ningbo Port before making their way to the United States.

"Our orders are already booked through August," said Chen Weimin, vice-president of Urtopia, adding that the company expects to double its output this year.

Inside the production facility, an array of sleek new models stands on display. While they resemble traditional bicycles at first glance, their cutting-edge design and integrated AI features set them apart.

"On a regular bike, a 20-kilometer ride can be tiring, but with an electric-assisted bicycle, 50 kilometers feels effortless," explained CEO Zhang Bo. These products are equipped with voice control, navigation, music playback, and a lightweight motor-battery system.

With Chinese brands now dominating the electric bike market in Europe and North America, Urtopia has already established a network of 500 retail stores across the US. The company expects annual revenue to exceed 70 million yuan ($9.64 million) this year.
