The project roadshow held in Jiaxing on June 3 was viewed by 300,000 netizens, Jiaxing Daily reported.

The activity was sponsored by the Jiaxing Municipal Committee of the CPC, Jiaxing Municipal Government and Yangtze Delta Region Institute of Tsinghua University.

In addition to the main venue in Jiaxing, the activity also set up branch venues in the United States, Australia, Japan, Germany, and the United Kingdom, which attracted more than 100 relevant overseas institutions and other investment promotion platforms and entrepreneurs from counties and districts in Jiaxing.

Twenty-six projects, involving artificial intelligence, life health, digital economy, energy conservation, environment protection, and aerospace, made an appearance at the event.

Managers of many roadshow projects expressed their intention to carry out their projects in Jiaxing. Ma Dongyu, a doctor specialized in mechanical control automation, was one such project manager.

"I've learned that Jiaxing has a great business environment and supporting policies. In 2019, the city's net inflow of high-caliber professionals ranked fourth in China," said Ma.

Ma noted that the roadshow had helped him make up his mind to start his project in Jiaxing.

His self-developed efficiency enhancing platform for industrial systems uses AI, big data and other new-generation information technologies to analyze the data of industrial systems in an effort to improve their operating efficiency.

Ma's platform has been commercialized into two application products in the US.
