As Spring Festival approaches, Zhoushan is gearing up for vibrant celebrations across the city, inviting residents and visitors to immerse themselves in the festive vibe.

In Dinghai Ancient City, the 2025 Spring Festival Lantern Show will have colorful lanterns and decorative installations, lighting up the night of the ancient city.

The Lincheng New Area will hold a gala on the Chinese calendar's Little New Year, usually a week before the Chinese New Year. The event will feature a "jellyfish" fireworks show, traditional shadow puppetry, musical performances, fairs, and folk games, offering plenty of interactive activities for attendees.

Starting Jan 27, Putuo district's Water Street will come alive with a grand Spring Festival performance series. The festivities will include a lantern festival, opera performances, fairs, and fountain shows, filling every corner with festive cheer.

On Jan 28, a Spring Festival drone light show will be held at the Lianhua Ocean Square in Putuo district, showcasing vibrant drone formations to highlight the festival vibe and the city's charm on Chinese New Year's Eve.

From Jan 29 to 30, there will be a Spring Festival Cultural Carnival in the Lincheng New Area, offering auditory delights, along with food, entertainment and a chance to win lucky prizes.
