Early this morning, a young athlete from Zhoushan, Lu Wenbo, and the Chinese team secured their first victory at the Paris Olympics by defeating the world's top-ranked Serbian team 21-15 in the second round of the men's 3x3 basketball group stage.

Facing the formidable Serbian team, the Chinese men's team maintained strong focus throughout the game. Although Serbia started strong with a long-range shot and maintained a slight lead, the Chinese team stayed close behind.

Midway through the game, with the score at 7-9, China scored six consecutive points to take the lead and eventually extended it to 19-11.

In the final two minutes, player Zhao Jieren drew a foul and made both free throws, sealing the game with a 21-15 victory.

Lu, born in 1997, was brought to Zhejiang by the Zhejiang Sports Vocational College and settled in Dinghai district, Zhoushan. He has represented Zhoushan in various major sporting events, including the Zhejiang Provincial Championships and Zhejiang Provincial Games. In 2016, he joined the first Zhejiang provincial basketball team and competed in the CBA league.
