The Dinghai Library in Dinghai district, Zhoushan, Zhejiang province opened to the public on March 28, according to local media reports.
The 6,300-square-meter cultural venue houses over 500,000 books across diverse categories, with nearly 200,000 books currently available for readers.
Within its premises, the library boasts a comprehensive array of facilities, including a 24-hour reading room, children's reading area, parent-child reading zone, leisure reading section, immersive experience zone, and electronic reading room, adult borrowing section, general reading area, and specialized local literature room.
The library is outfitted with state-of-the-art intelligent book retrieval and borrowing systems and is committed to hosting a range of activities for the public, including regular training sessions, reading promotion activities, and curated lectures, cultural services, and seminars.
