Children in Dinghai district, Zhoushan, Zhejiang province indulged in a rich tapestry of folk activities to celebrate the Lantern Festival on Feb 22.

Festivities featured crafting lanterns, solving lantern riddles, and participating in dragon dances. Moreover, the children had the opportunity to learn the art of making sugar-coated haws.

A puppet show was also staged to further enrich their understanding of traditional Chinese culture.
