Eleven foreign students from eight countries, including Russia, Thailand, Bangladesh, and Senegal, convened in Dinghai Ancient Town, Zhoushan, Zhejiang province on Jan 21 to get a taste of traditional Chinese New Year celebrations.

Immersing themselves in the allure of traditional Chinese culture, the students engaged in a diverse array of activities, such as exploring the history of the Chinese New Year, indulging in traditional operas, practicing Chinese calligraphy, mastering the art of dumpling making and paper-cutting, and participating in captivating diabolo performances.
