An exhibition of Zhoushan fishermen's paintings themed on probity culture opened at the Zhejiang Museum in Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang province, on Oct 25.

The exhibition will run until Oct 31.

More than 70 paintings featuring unique aesthetics and deep significance were showcased at the exhibition.

Zhoushan fishermen's paintings are derived from the city's unique maritime culture, and authorities have in recent years been making efforts to develop this cultural item with new meanings and distinctive features, according to a local official.
