Huangjiatai Ruins Park nears completion

Construction of Huangjiatai Ruins Park in Shengsi county, Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang province, will be completed by the end of October, according to local media reports.

The park will unveil the mysterious nature of the Zhoushan archipelago from 5,000 years ago.

Huangjiatai ruins, a historical and cultural site under provincial-level protection, was discovered by an archaeological team in 2021.

The 4,800-square-meter ruins mainly consist of a sand dune site from the Liangzhu culture period, dating back approximately to 4,800-4,500 years ago. It is also the first sand dune site discovered in the province.
