What comes to your mind when you hear "Zhoushan"? The ocean, seafood, an island, or the Mount Putuo as a famous scenic spot of Zhoushan, attracting thousands of tourists every year? But for me, a lot.

As a university student, my life is busy but valuable. Perhaps fates let me finish my studies here, such a beautiful city. University life broadens my eyes, enlarges my mind and gives me more channels to explore the outside world. I realize that I am not only a student but also an adult who is preparing to step into society. Actually, I can't remember clearly how many times I have traveled on the Cross-Sea Bridge. Bur I still vaguely remember when I was young there was no bridges, and if we wanted to visit this island, we had to transit by ferry. The transportation was inconvenient several years ago. It's only an hour's drive from Ningbo now. And Zhoushan's future traffic will not be limited to bridges, because the construction of the country's first cross-sea high-speed rail tunnel is being actualized in a step-by-step manner. The new railway will facilitate communications and promote regional economic development.

As a volunteer, wearing red volunteer clothes is, I think, meaningful for me to join social activities. And the most impressive thing for me is about helping the patients in the hospital, guiding them to use smart terminals or line up behind the yellow one-meter line. What we do really make them happy, and they also showed acceptance proposals. I have also participated in activities like garbage collection and proper placement of non-motorized vehicles, and I wish I could get more opportunities to do such things. I can deeply feel the improvement of citizens' quality, although there is still a lot of room for improvement. The general civilized literacy reflects the cultural accomplishment of the city very well. Zhoushan is bidding for the title of a National Civilized City,  and civilization is always on the way.
