I am Humayun khan from Pakistan, my Chinese name is 可汗. Today I am going to share a brief story of my stay at Zhoushan Island. Few people have the chance to get what they have dreamed in life and among that few one is me. I always dreamed of beautiful islands and luckily in the year 2017 I get the chance to study in China at Zhejiang Ocean University, which is located on a beautiful island city called Zhoushan. I have heard about the beauty of many islands around the world such as islands in Indonesia, Philippine, and Greece, but Zhoushan Island has many eye-opening sights and it will be not wrong if I called it paradise on earth. To me, the most beautiful place that I have ever been is the Zhoushan Island. Zhoushan has a history of more than one thousand years and always remains a beautiful tourism spot. Zhoushan collectively has more than one thousand sub islands. But some of them attract people more, like Mount Putuo, Taohua Island, Liuhang, Daishan, Huaniao Island, etc.

The first thing of Zhoushan Island, which hits me like the message of aroma and gives me unique feeling, is the weather of this beautiful island, with very clean, fresh and moist air. Zhoushan is mostly raining. The weather is not too cold but very pleasant. Zhoushan has very huge plantation which also affects the environment positively. The plantation also plays a prominent role in the pollution control. Everywhere is lush greenery which makes the mind fresh and healthy. The days are sometimes mysteriously blanketed with fog. The Chinese government and the local authorities, as well as local people of Zhoushan, have always shown great interest in the development of island. I am really impressed by the students, no matter at which school or college, working as volunteers to keep Zhoushan clean and green. I also have seen that these students are helping the local traffic police and guide the people for their safety, teach them traffic rules and regulations. Zhoushan has all these facilities that are required by a developed city.
