My name is Hussain. I am from Pakistan. It’s going to be my third year in Zhoushan. First year I learned Chinese language and now I am a second year postgraduate student majoring in Food Science & Engineering, Food Science & Pharmacy Department, Zhejiang Ocean University.

The most important thing that I would like to share is that I have deeply fallen in love with ZJOU. ZJOU is such a kind of school that has taught me how to speak. Before I came here, I even didn't know你好. After becoming part of ZJOU, I soon knew how to communicate in Chinese. And now I can do communication with my Chinese friends, even old Chinese people with local dialects. 

Fortunately, I was selected to host the 60th anniversary of ZJOU. That has been the most shining moment in my life and the experience shall inspire me in my whole life and I was also the host of the opening ceremony of Zhoushan English News.

Beside study, currently I'm the president of International Students Union in ZJOU. I with the help of International Students Office have organized many activities for our international students. Our international students are very happy by participating in all those activities. 

Here I would like to share one story about the kindness of Zhoushan people. Once I arranged a tour of about 40 international students to Tea Valley and all enjoyed a lot but during the tour one exchange student from Russia lost his mobile in the tea valley. When we were planning to go back to university the Russian guy told me about his mobile and I made a call to his number. When I called his number, the receiver was female and she told me I can get the mobile from a specific place of Dinghai district. When we reached there, she treated us very well and returned the Russian student's mobile.
