My name is Tess, and I am a native girl from Zhoushan. I was born in Zhoushan, grew up in Zhoushan, studied in Zhoushan, and now work and live in Zhoushan. I grow up with eating seafood, listening to the waves, enjoying the sea breeze, smelling the smell of sea. Maybe it's because I grew up on the seaside, I like the sea very much. I also feel that the sea is my safe place. It's as warm and reliable as my family or elder brother, and it makes me feel at ease. I like the soft singing of the sea in spring, the vitality and surge of the sea in summer, the quietness and maturity of the sea in autumn, and the depth and tolerance of the sea in winter.

The sea accompanied my growth, through the pure childhood, the ignorant youthhood, the sentimental youth, and now I am becoming more and more mature. The sea is my homeland. It is the sea that accompanies me and witnesses every bit of my life.

I still vaguely remember when I was in kindergarten. One day, my father said to me that when I got up at noon, he would take me to the beach to swim. Wow, my small eyes lit up in an instant. Immediately, the scene of playing with my father on the beach appeared before my eyes, and I couldn’t stop smiling. I couldn’t count how many times I cheered in my mind. Hearing my father at the door, I directly bounced up from the bed next to my father, regardless of saying goodbye to the teacher. Taking his hands, I would like to rush to the beach immediately. When I was a child, I didn't know how to get sunscreen, and that day I spent the whole afternoon at the beach with my father. Although I couldn't swim, I set myself in my favorite swim ring, built castles with my father on the beach, grabbed crabs and picked up beautiful shells. These are all sweet memories and they always come to my mind.
