Now I am only in my twenties and have only set my feet on the salty soil for around twenty years, notwithstanding my inexperience, I am fortunate to witness the drastic development of my town. Admittedly, I feel happy for that the endeavor of my fellowmen now yields its fruits but still I am a bit worried that we might cast away something we have treasured for so long. Zhoushan for me is a holy place and the Nature which is omnipresent everywhere on this planet will not reward the greedy ones who are only keen to exploiting. I wish tourists be more patient and bide their time on the golden beaches of desolate islands, to walk there with naked soles, contemplating about the passage of perpetual forwarding of the society and the tenaciously persistent law of the Nature.
And for myself, I wish that I be a child of the sea for as long as I can and that I may be able to defend it from detrimental powers, wherefore the story between me and Zhoushan goes on.
