Wenzhou's business environment has been steadily improving, with three projects making the list of best practice cases in Zhejiang province in the recent evaluation.
Among three projects, the first, led by Zhejiang Provincial Bureau of Statistics, introduced the nation's first Enterprise Health Diagnosis application to address issues resulting from the underdevelopment of government-owned public data. This initiative empowers the continuous optimization of the business environment, offering precise support to 650 businesses and sending over 197,000 warning messages after conducting 12 rounds of health diagnosis reports for industrial enterprises whose annual revenue from their service exceeds 20 million yuan ($2.83 million).

The second initiative focuses on enhancing government services, strategically piloted in the Wenzhou Bay New Area. By pioneering a sales model mixing online retail and brick-and-mortar stores, the reform has provided businesses with a wide array of value-added services, helping them achieve high-quality development. As a result, the initiative has achieved a 99.5-percent satisfaction rate from enterprises.
Additionally, reforms in mediating foreign-related commercial disputes have been implemented in Ruian, a county-level city under the administration of Wenzhou. With an oriented service system, Ruian has resolved 17 disputes, recovering 120 million yuan in economic losses and securing orders exceeding one billion yuan, earning commendation from the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.
These initiatives underscore Wenzhou's commitment to fostering high-quality development for private enterprises and ensuring a seamless experience for businesses venturing into the international market.
